INTRODUZIONE<\/strong><\/p>

Da sempre l’evoluzione tecnologica costituisce l’elemento caratterizzante la diagnostica per immagini.<\/p>

La serie di webinar che oggi vi presentiamo tratta uno dei tanti temi che, come associazione scientifica, vorremmo approfondire: la Dual Energy applicata alla Tomografia Computerizzata, compresa l’evoluzione tecnologica della doppia energia implementata dal 2005 ad oggi, fino alla recente introduzione del Photon counting.\u00a0<\/p>

Il percorso formativo sar\u00e0 suddiviso in due macroargomenti: la tecnologia del photon counting e la tecnica a doppia energia con TC a singola e doppia sorgente.\u00a0<\/p>

Si alterneranno relatori italiani ed esteri.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

Nel primo appuntamento <\/strong>verranno approfonditi le prime applicazioni cliniche del Photon counting e dello Spectral imaging, valutandone i vantaggi nelle nuove metodiche TC. Inoltre, verranno mostrate le potenzialit\u00e0 del mercato della TC industriale in ambito ingegneristico, mediante la testimonianza degli utilizzatori pi\u00f9 esperti.\u00a0<\/p>

Nel secondo incontro<\/strong> verranno approfonditi i principi fisici delle tecniche spettrali e le principali applicazioni della dual energy nelle diverse realt\u00e0 ospedaliere italiane. Saranno mostrate, inoltre, le implementazioni diagnostiche ottenute mediante apparecchiature TC a doppia sorgente e a doppia energia, nell’ambito della diagnostica per immagini applicata all’ambito clinico.<\/p>

Al termine di ognuno dei due incontri sar\u00e0 aperta una tavola rotonda<\/strong> tra i componenti della faculty per favorire il confronto.<\/p>

INTRODUCTION<\/strong><\/p>

Technological evolution has always been the defining element of diagnostic imaging.<\/p>

The webinar series that we are presenting today deals with one of the many topics that we, as a scientific association, would like to explore in depth: Dual Energy applied to Computed Tomography, including the technological evolution of dual energy implemented from 2005 until today, up to the recent introduction of Photon counting.\u00a0<\/p>

The training course will be divided into two macro-topics: photon counting technology and the dual energy technique with single and dual source CT.\u00a0<\/p>

Italian and foreign speakers will alternate.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

In the first meeting<\/strong>, the first clinical applications of photon counting and spectral imaging will be examined in depth, evaluating their advantages in the new CT methods. In addition, the potential of the industrial CT market in the engineering field will be shown through the testimony of the most experienced users.\u00a0<\/p>

In the second meeting<\/strong>, the physical principles of spectral techniques and the main applications of dual energy in different Italian hospitals will be discussed. Diagnostic implementations obtained with dual source and dual energy CT equipment will also be shown, in the field of diagnostic imaging applied to the clinical field.<\/p>

At the end of each meeting, there will be a round table discussion among the faculty members to encourage discussion.<\/p>
